Prayer and Share Meeting - Prayer Petition

For the Week of February 2, 2025
A Prayer of Protection for the United States of America 

Praise and Worship
Holy and Righteous Father, thank You for protecting our borders. Father, we thank You for all of our brave service members defending our nation’s liberties and freedoms, and our country’s allies. Father, Your Word is true, and we can trust everything You do. You are great and mighty! Triumphant Father, You are the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. There is no power greater than Yours. 

Praying God’s Will
Some nations boast of their chariots and horses [their armies and weaponry], but we, the United States, boast in the Name of the Lord, our God. Using the power and authority given to us through Jesus Christ, we destroy every demonic assignment that the devil will try to use to retaliate against the United States. We command every hidden scheme of terror and destruction to expose itself.  We declare that every evil attempt to come against our country or our citizens in any part of the world will come to nothing. Every weapon formed against us will not succeed. Let God arise, and His enemies be scattered!

Praying the Request
Almighty Father, continue to extend Your grace and mercy toward our nation. Please do not turn your face away from us. Confuse and silence the communications between the sleeper terrorist cells in America and worldwide. Holy Spirit, empower our President and key leaders who are making decisions with Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment. Merciful Father, we admit that our nation is a pluralistic society that confesses many gods, but there is a remnant that trusts only in You. We trust in You, the only living God. 

Praying for Forgiveness
Forgive our nation for its many sins. Forgive us for rebellion, defiance, disobedience, arrogance, greed, and perversion. Forgive us, the Body of Christ, for not always representing Your Kingdom and righteousness to the world. Holy Spirit, remind us of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. 

Praying for Protection
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one. 

Praise and Worship
You are the Lord, our God,  and there is no other. No one is holy like You. There is no one besides You. There is no Rock like You, our God. Lord, You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. You rule and reign forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
